New Puppy Consultations
Will meet with client to discuss what to look for in a dog based on their lifestyle, appropriate breeds, how to find and pick a reputable breeder or rescue, how to prepare to bring puppy or dog home, and more. Meeting will be one hour and the cost is $75.00. I always say I wish people would consult with a professional before even getting a dog or puppy. So why not offer that service? Talking with a professional beforehand could prevent so many issues that can be completely avoided.
Canine Good Citizen Testing
The Canine Good Citizen is an AKC sponsored test that serves as a basic litmus test for how well your dog behaves and responds in public. Many therapy dog organizations require a dog have an award or title on file. Some home owners insurance companies may allow restrictive breeds to be covered on the policy if the dog has a Canine Good Citizen award. Your dog does not have to be registered with AKC to take the test.

Cost is $20 per dog for CGC and all related tests.
*NOTE: S.T.A.R. puppy not offered because the puppy MUST be in a group class taught by a canine good citizen evaluator.
Not sure if your dog is ready for the Canine Good Citizen? Need some suggestions tailored to your dog? Maybe you want your dog evaluated for possible therapy work. This is a one hour service where we can discuss where your dog is now, where you would like your dog to be in the future, and what to do to get there. This can also be used as a one-time training session, only once per household. Price is $80.00 and will count towards a training package (not behavioral services) if client enrolls up to 14 days post-consultation.
Informal Phone Call
Good for people who want simple things such as crate training, potty training, information on therapy work, small concerns, and more. They must be scheduled and cost $45.00. The fee must be paid in full before the scheduled call.
